| The Texas Stroke Institute is developing dedicated neurovascular teams in the Level 1 Comprehensive Stroke Centers to be able to provide high quality brain-attack care. State of the art cutting-edge 3D road-mapping, and FlexVision monitors for high image quality are available to be able to perform neuro-interventional procedures including mechanical thrombectomy for ischemic strokes and endovascular coiling for aneurysms. |
The Texas Stroke Institute is a collaborative initiative that includes eleven North Texas HCA hospitals. Our goal is to develop an effective and resource-efficient plan to reduce the morbidity, mortality and economic burden of stroke in the region. Incorporating medical education and participating in research will establish us as a National Center of Excellence in Stroke.
